Does anyone have a recommendation , i have a mixed 135gal, 55gal sump, i need a space saver because i will be running a jns 2 biopellet reactor in the same chamber, I have a red sea 1800 right now but way to big, not wanting to break the bank. Thanks for the help

Looking at the SWC 180 extreme cone skimmer vs the reef octopus diablo XS 160. SWC can handle more load and reviews say reef octopus is load, the SWC comes with a PSK 2500 and reef with the newer more advanced PSK 600. Does the newer pump design make that big of a difference to put up with a noisey skimmer ?

I use the eshops cone e-200 and love it I founf mine on ebay for less than 300 bucks but I have seen them go as high as 500

The diablo is okay. I have a 160. I modified the exit and its dead quite. I hated the pump and bought a bubble blaster later on.
Honestly there are better pumps for a couple bucks more. I would have bought a sro and never had anymore worries. I would
stay away from mesh wheels if you ever have power outages in your area. It wont kill your tank when your skimmer stops but
its a pita and not cool if you vacation. Less worries = worth 50 dollars to me. The avast deal is pretty nice if you want to assemble one.

I read a bit more negitive on the SWC and it's 2500 pump issues, do you have and opinion on the octopus in NWB 200 8inch classic or the aqua max CO2

They both are fine. But you can usually find a nice used skimmer on here fairly cheap. There where some tab and vertex in the for sale section. I bought my diablo on eBay for 100. Just look for a week or two. I like the sro for 200-300 if you can find one on eBay or here.

Asm g3 super easy to use set it and forget it and I think I payed 332 for mine
