How do I know where to position my suction cups high low middle ?? Please help

What kind of skimmer is it and where are you putting it (ie: sump, or display)? That may help you get answers faster.

I have that skimmer, it should have a min and max water level on it. I have mine right on the max line with the bubbles adjusted to about a half inch below the top of the neck
