I have a 90 gallon that I upgraded to from a 70 gallon tank. I moved over my corals including a Duncan, anemone, star polyps, candy cane and a few other. I have someone who comes out and does the maintenance on the tank, water changes and so forth. When he came out last week he turned the skimmer off and left it off. Is this common to turn the skimmer of for days? The old tank was high in nitrates - but when he came out this last time I asked him what the water levels were and he replied that they were okay. Any ideas? (I asked him but didn't get a response .

I would definitely want a answers if you having someone service my tank . dose the tank look ok ? Ya you can turn off skimmer if you water is good and maybe not alot of corals but i never turn my off .
