Skimmer

So I just put in new filter socks out of the bag and I have to move my skimmer out of the way so I put them in and slide the skimmer back into place and the skimmer goes crazy what is going on?I opened my gate in skimmer all the way and its still just going crazy.

It's something to do with new filter socks. Mine does that every time. I have started to soak the new ones in Ro water and it has lessened this issue.

OK, I wondering.Just needed to now I'm not the only one.

No I have read on here many having the same issues. I finally gave up and quit using one all together.
