I have a new set up that has been running a little over a week. Has brand new sand and dry rock. Should I be running my skimmer this whole time while the tank cycles or should I turn it off while I wait for the cycle to be done? Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

May as well start breaking it in. Try to get a dry skim.

I ran mine all the time, helped with all the sand muck and all plus as stated above needs breaking in anyways ... won't hurt any

How long does the break in take? I feel like it isn't producing enough bubbles for it to work properly

a while. It needs to be coated with bacteria. that's the "break in".

Mine well I have small one lie 65 gal rated SC brand and it's what 4-5 weeks now I finally got it dialed in and geting dark skim
