Skimmer

I knew we would get to the real problem!

Since you are getting overflow every few hours, adjust the skimmer so the water level is at its lowest point. If after a day or so you are still getting overflow, you may need to raise the skimmer a little bit.

Once you get the skimmer to where it is not overflowing, just let it be for a few days. After it has had time to break in, then use SMALL adjustments to raise the water level to where you are getting a good skim from it. It takes some patience and time, but nothing good in this hobby happens quickly.
Can I raise it with like a foam block ? Will my water level increase also since foam blocks float in water ?

I don't think you can attribute growth or lack there of to the skimmer. Could it be that the fuge is uptaking nutrients, and the skimmer is removing the rest, and thus starving the corals? MAYBE, but probably not.

Do you have detectable levels of nitrates and phosphates?
It's a possibility but I have 0 nitrates and phosphate

I would get some pvc pipe, cut a couple pieces (maybe 3 or 4) and stand the skimmer on those. It's cheap and easy. You could buy pvc couplings to make sure they're all the same height. U would go with 1" ones. Or if you can find pipe larger enough, get one piece cut that just fits inside the skimmer footprint, then drill some holes in the sides of the pipe so water can flow through it.

I don't know if the foam block would work or not.

But my skimmer water level is almost 4 inches below the collection cup. I'm not sure if our skimmers water level is suppose to different.
Not the water level that the skimmer sits in that should be 5-8", 7" being ideal ime for most skimmers. I am talking about the water/bubble level inside the skimmer. Tune the skimmer so the water/bubble level is about 2" from the very bottom of the collection cup, let it run like that for 24 hours. Then tune it from there. In the vid you posted I can see the water level is up inside the cup neck. If you look you can see a dividing line inside the skimmer where the water turns into all foam and bubbles, that line is the water level. I hope that helps.
Edit to add pics. Here you can see the wayer bubble level on my skimmer and this is skimming dry, sump water level that skimmers is in is 7", 2 days of skim.

i adjusted it last night lets see how it goes. it looks much better. but i didn't get anything in the collection cup this morning so i raised it a little more. hopefully that does the trick. the other thing that i did notice was that every once in a while my skimmer would stop foaming and the skims would just chill at the bottom of the collection cup where i tuned it to. i really think something maybe wrong with that skimmer.
