I had a mrc skimmer for 14 years and the injector took a crap on me. My question is should i look into a new skimmer or try to find a new injector? If a new skimmer is a better idea what skimmer is good for internal sump or external sump for a total water volume of 75 gallon and medium bio load?

I have had luck and love the reef octo skimmers. I had for a 48 gallon with a 14 gallon sump the reef octo 110 classic and worked great. I have since upgraded to a bigger tank 120 with a 30 sump and went to the reef octo 150 classic and it to is doing a great job... with technology improvements over the yrs I personally would get a new skimmer instead of trying to find a part for your skimmer

Hope this answers your question

I just purchased a bubble magus curve 5, seems like a really solid build. Started pulling gunk from my water in first 5 minutes running it. Relatively small footprint as pump is internal. Maybe overkill for 75 gallons. Around $180 on Amazon. SC skimmers are supposed to be decent, and very similar to the magus, and less money. I believe they have one rated for 65 gallons on Amazon that is pretty popular.

Thank you for your input. I have read some good things about them.
