So first time I turned my skimmer on really and let it work 24hrs to see the results and I'm stunned. I think the tank looks so clear. My corals are closed out I think do to me doing a heavy clean up yesterday but I have a slight problem with the skimmer. It makes a lot of noise. Anyone know why?

Sounds like the pump isn't working correctly. Have you taken it out and inspect everything? Maybe it needs cleaning?

Yeah I have taken it out and cleaned it. All the parts. Seems like it's everytime It skims the foam out it makes the vibration sound

How old is your tank? I personally would run a skimmer without a heavy fish load. Any SPS in the tank?
