Skimmer

I have the Reef Octopus OCTO Classic Protein Skimmer 110-INT

I can no longer control the bubbles.
Turn it fully right heavy bubbles
Turn it fully left lots of bubbles

It ran great for 6 months now I can't control it
Fills the cup in <1minute

What is wrong
What do I need to do?

Help please.

I got the classic 150 skimmer about 3 weeks ago so I have not had to do much in the way of the maintenance yet but I would check your air intake and make sure it is not clogged or gunked over. It it and the pump off and it in some vinegar water overnight and see if that helps.

How deep of water is the unit sitting in? also check the airline that goes to unit from muffler.

Try to elevate skimmer to 6". Water level will affect this

Make sure the tube that you turn is pushed all the way down and is completely seated. Also, check to make sure that the air holes on top are not clogged.
