Found a reef octopus hob skimmer used at a lfs. Tested it at store. Bam bought it. 81 dollars. Great deal. Little banged up but not much. Easier to adjust and to prome than my eshops crap hob skimmer.

Congratulations on the new skimmer! I am a fan of Reef Octopus products - do you know what model hob skimmer that you got? What size tank are you planning to use it with?

I put it on a 60 gallon. I got the CLASSIC 1000 HANG-ON-BACK PROTEIN SKIMMER

It's just a temp skimmer. Got fed up with the old eshops. And for 80 I jumped at it. Even though I will be doing a new build in january.

Wow - that is a great deal! Nothing wrong with having an extra HOB skimmer around - I seem to end up with temporary setups on a regular basis.

@Bulk Reef Supply and @CoralVue both have parts for #reefoctopus equipment in case anything is missing or needs to be replaced.
