Skimmers for a 400g reef

I have been blessed and was given a 400 gallon acrylic tank. My problem is I cannot afford a skimmer for that large of a tank. Would it work just as well if I use two or more smaller skimmers to accomplish the same work as a large skimmer

Refurbishing right now will polish Tuesday & Wednesday then decide where it will go and start the build. As for livestock I think this will be FOWLR I have a 125 reef already

If you need several skimmers for this I can donate a Curve 5, it was an Ozone vessel for 2 months in good working order.

If you can’t afford the skimmer I would stop now. Running a large tank is very expensive.
