Hey all,

I am in the process of building a 50g IM lagoon EXT setup...

I've got the tank, and I went with a largeish sump hoping to keep the actual water volume close to or over 50g. I also have a tendency to stock/feed heavy...

With that being said I am having a heck of a time picking between three skimmer options. I imagine I will be happy with any of the three, but I wanted to see if there are any pervasive issues that I am overlooking:

  • Nyos 120
  • Deltec 400i
  • RedSea RSK-300
I like that the Red Sea is $100 cheaper. I like that the Deltec is DC and adjustable. And I like that the Nyos is reportedly SILENT.

Any feedback?

I would seriously consider the Tunze 9410 ac or DC. I run one on my 65g. So easy to set up and adjust.
