I have been using NOPOX for about 2 months.
I am currently using an Octopus INT 200 skimmer on a 60 gallon net reef tank.

Thus far, I have very little success skimming out phosphate. It is my understanding that
Red Sea suggest running a very wet skim mate to export the phosphate out.

Can anyone share with me your experience skimming Phosphate out while using NOPOX or maybe any sort of carbon dosing.

I know you can use GFO to export phosphate out, just wondering if there are reefers successful using NOPOX or carbon dosing alone with skimmer.

Thanks!

I've been carbon dosing for a while now with nopox. I see pretty radical changes in nitrate no phosphate removal. I use a Red Sea 150sss int and wet skim as recommended. It removes so much that I have backed down my dosage to less than half of recommended and use it every other day.

It did take a while to "start working". But from what I read that seems to be common in older systems. Or systems using older live rock.
