I have a 40b with 20g sump about 45-50g of water. I've been using a SCA 301 for the past 2 years and would like to get something new before 301 goes out. The space I have for a skimmer 7"x8". How do u guys like your skimz? I would appreciate If any has any other suggestions on a good skimmer with small footprint.

I have a Skimz Monster SM 163 DC, footprint is 7.5 by 7.5. Granted its way over kill for my 80G rimless, but it pulls skim like a boss! You might be able to get away with the SM121 model, its slightly smaller, cheaper, still rated for 70G on heavy bio load.
