SKimz 181 kone skimmer

Hey guys,

So i have been running this skimmer for a little over a month, when i got it the back plate on the pump was cracked and couldn't be fixed without glue, i attempted a few mods to it and worked for a while but now the pump isn't working (i bought the skimmer used) otherwise I would call the manufacture and see what they could do for me. So at the end of the day wondering if anyone has put any other pump with this unit and likes it better, i have no complaints about the pump but if I have to buy a new one want to make sure that I am buying the best for the unit (granted i know everyone has there own opinion on what is best and not) but just looking for ideas or from people that have actually changed the pump on the skimmer.

I have often thought of this issue if something happened down the road . The only pump I have seen that looks like a close fit is the Sicce psk 600.
I have yet to find out who carries replacement parts for SKIMZ . For a positive fit , I would try contacting Warner Marine for a replacement pump . They are partnered with SKIMZ .
No harm in asking .

I know that Aqua Cave has the replacement pump, so I know i can get it from there.

I have tried contact John, but have not gotten a response and that was about a month ago but I will try contacting him again today.

I agree doesn't hurt to ask
