Ok. I'll look at the askoll pump, but I've been in that boat before with my current skimmer, a swc 230. It's now running a laguna 1500 block

Since we are sharing pics...

I did a lot of beta testing of skimmers for Warner Marine. Jon Warner is who made JNS (OEM for Aquamaxx) skimmers what they are today. When he first showed me their website, the skimmers were very crude. We discussed changes that he was going to make and what came out of those changes were very good performing skimmers. Here are some pics of the first of the skimmers ever to land in the US.

Former Marine look for a new partner when JNS resisted more suggested changes that he proposed. Basically the exact skimmer we call the Aquamaxx Cone. He even sent them my Laguna pump so the could develop a needlwheel for it ( now used on the Cone 7). Warner marine then went to Skimz to build the next skimmer.
