Skimz Chaeto Reactor?

Good evening guys,

I have a question. So I bought a Skimz chaeto reactor

and I just realized that it has to be run inside the sump. Unfortunately with the skimmer I don’t have any room left for the reactor. So my question is can something be done to the reactor to be able to run it externally? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

1st I would contact Skimz directly, find out if the internal pump they use can be used outside the water. If so, is there a way to plumb the intake and outtake back into the sump. Personally I don't do complicated, I would return it and put together a system with an external reactor and a pump I can drop into the sump.
