Hello everyone!
I wanted to post this feedback for those who are considering the UP30 from SKIMZ. I've had mine for close to a year now I believe. The overall the build quality on it is pretty decent however a big issue I've found with the design of the filter sock chamber is how despite there being plenty of flow coming into the area...and me using the proprietary Skimz filter socks...the flow design (outbound) creates back-pressure over time. Its frustrating because I just end up leaving the sock like this for a few days because I don't want the hassle of having to adjust the filter sock once a day to relieve the back-pressure. I've highlighted in a red box below where you can see the air pocket that forms. As time goes on, the air pocket becomes larger until I adjust it and release the seal that has formed.
