Drives me crazy to see all these posts giving advice and only one or two have actually asked for parameters....we need parameters to give accurate advice.

What parameters are you looking for

Bring a sample of your water into LFS a see if they can check your parameters for you. Things like nitrite, nitrate, alk, calcium, ph , magnesium, ammonia, salinity. Once you gotten a more accurate source and more accurate parameters post it here and let us know. As far as bottled bacteria it doesn’t hurt to add some if you are doing water changes. I’d say wait for now get your parameters checked and come back and post them. I’ll have more to work off of with those. I’d hold off on the 10-15 percent water changes till you come back with parameters.

Well the water quality got much better a couple days after i posted this and it hasn’t spiked again.

Glad to hear something could’ve died to cause the initial spike in the parameters.
