So I just picked up a skunk shrimp a few days ago. Today it has been zooming around the tank every now and then. Is this normal behavior?

Mine likes to zoom around every once and a while, especially when theres food afoot. Should be fine, just keep an eye on him.

I came home today at it was dead. Levels were normal yesterday when I checked them and it was eating mysis well. I really liked that little guy. Sad times.

Hmm that's weird. Can you share your water parameters? As well as to whether your using rodi water or tap water

I hope it was just a molt. Sorry for your loss, @Crimsontopper. It's never fun having to say goodbye, but having to before you feel like you're even done saying hello is sometimes worse.

It was not a molt. I saw the black part inside and poked it with a pipette and it didnt move. And it was upside down
