I have had a trio of these anthias in my QT since April 16. I was planning to move them to the display tank today but I just noticed yesterday that one appears to be sick. It is not eating and hiding inside one of the PVC pipes in the QT. The fish has no outward signs of parasites or injury. Its breathing is a bit labored. The QT parameters have always been great. This tank cycled months ago and has never had any detectable levels of ammonia, the nitrites have never been over 0.016 ppm and the nitrates never over 4 ppm. I do regular 20% water changes, at least every two weeks. Up until yesterday, this whole trio of fish were eating brine and mysis shrimp very readily. They would attack whenever I got close to the tank. Of course, I am not making the transfer to the display tank in case they die but do you guys have any advice for my next actions? Should I be treating the tank with some sort of medication?
