Slicing a mushroom ?

I have some green fuzzy mushrooms on some rock and overflow that have become a nuisance and I want to slice/scrap them off.

Do they release toxins when cut? I wish I never got em...

No toxins that I know of but an easier way would b to point a powerhead at them till they release. Then u can gather them up and trade them in.

How long does something like that take? min? hour? day? wonder if i should rig something up or just blast it for a min..

I think it varies. I've not done it with mushrooms, but with btas it worked well for me to set something up overnight.

Well I gave it a shot. Blasting them off of the overflow was pretty easy, maybe 5min. The rock.. another story. Had to scrub them off. Too afraid to set up a powerhead, incase it fell and toasted something else.

The issue with scraping or cutting mushrooms is that a lot of times they will grow back in force.
