Well, I suggest (1) you put your location in your profile. Now it says "in grace." Also, Chicago is a big area. IMHO, better would be something like "NW Burbs" "N burbs" or "SW burbs" (2) you go to some of the in-person group meetings in the area. JARC for SW burbs, CMAS for NW burbs. Rockford Reefers for way W/NW burbs. PM me a more precise location, and I'll PM you some links (I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do that here).

If I remember correctly you are in lockport right??? (could be wrong) If so come on over and join us at JARC! JARC Main A bunch of great reefers, local shop discounts, monthly meetings, and we get together for "Frag Hold'em" tournaments every couple months! We are gonna have a Frag Swap and Demo on April 24th at the Elk's lodge in Joliet. (I will post info as it comes, this is just the basics) There will be at least one workshop and other speakers. Last swap Anthony Calfo came out and did some demos.

I think CMAS is having a fragswap this month. CMAS->Chicago, not the other one (Charlotte? Maryland?). It's not in Chicago, though. It's in the far W/NW suburbs (West Chicago, maybe? that's further than the name implies). Google them. They might even have a forum here?
