In my nano ive noticed that there is a weird slimeish algae on rock and the sand what kind of algae is it and what can i do about it ?

Is it red? It might be cyano.

How old is the tank? What are your nutrient levels?

The tank is about a year old and nitrate, nitrite are untraceable
