Slime? Bacteria? Good/Bad?

I have been dosing Redsea N03 P04-X for some time. Maybe it's a coincidence but I have seen this slime in my skimmer on 2 occasions since dosing. Is this bacteria? If so, is it good or bad?

Yea, probably is. If it's slimy only.
If it's got some real texture it may be an alge or sponge too. Look more like an alge.

Yup. It does feed bacteria.

Definitely to much NoPox... i had the same slime coverimg my rockwork for a bit. Clears up on its own if you quit dosing for a bit.

I am battling an algae outbreak so I will cut the dosage down a bit. So just so I understand this, I have created so much bacteria, this is a large collection of that bacteria?
