So my foxface has what looks like steam/slime coming from his dorsal fins. Originally I thought it was venom lol but it seems to follow him.

Is this normal? He’s in QT with copper, metro and GC. Eats like a pig. Wondering if it’s because of the focus I’m using, he just ate

Sounds like brook, video doesn't show up for me.

Sorry the videos are not working. How about a couple of still shots?

Video is still being processed but here it is:

Still shots are fine. Is it just the fins or the whole body? Mine “sheds” every few weeks. It’s like a smoky sheet that comes off him, usually in the morning and the other fish eat it when it passes by. I’ve had him for a year and he’s been doing this the whole time. If you do a search you’ll see other folks’ do the same.

I can barely make it out, but it looks similar to what mine does, but a chunk of his seems to have gotten caught on his fin.

If this is what a Foxface does it certainly fits the bill. Caught me off guard cause he’s been perfect in QT and is towards the end and now I saw this, I was like come on!
