I have and had tons of zoas and never seen this before. Trying to identify it so I can cure it. Kinda snotty-slimy.

Looks kind like a fungal infection. PM Reefpets, I know he is good with zoa infections.

Try fern 2 that works you get it at like petco and you do a 20 min dip and rinse after for a few mins and repeat for 5 days it cured my ph

Its good to see that people were able to use the information!

On a frag of that size I would recommend everything that was posted in the links above. Maybe with the exception of a couple things since its a frag.

I would recommend using the same process such as removing the infected polyps, dipping and so one. After you have removed the polyps, dipped and ran plenty of fresh water over the frag I would then remove the frag from the plug and mount it to a new/clean plug. The plug that its currently mounted to, throw it in the trash.
When remounting the frag be sure to use only a small amount of glue. Just cover the plug with a very thin layer of glue to insure that it stays mounted.
I hope that this process saves some of the polyps being that you noticed the fungus at an early stage. But, if not treated fast (tonight) a frag of that size could be destroyed within another 24 hours.
