Slow growing chalices

I had this one for some time now, atleast 3-4 years probably longer...anyhow its been notoriously slow growing and sensitive. If the water changes too much too (too clean) fast lighting etc its always the first to let me know.

In lower light it looks more orange/green in higher light more pink with only a little green.

I was looking at an old picture of it, and realized the photo was from Oct 08 so about 17 months between photos and you can see how little it has grown.

Just seems some chalice grow so slow, and others so fast its really odd to me.

My current set up is a aquarium obsessed 4'x3' 24" high with a 12 bulb sfiligoi T5 hood, 2 mp40's (was 3 but one recently quit on me), skimmer is bubble king mini 200 gen 2. I use BRS two part automated by a LM3 setup..run GFO/GAC.. not sure what else you'd want to know. Im not having any problem this particular chalice has always been a slow grower is all, not necessarily a bad thing.
