Slow leak

Hey all, I have had a self-sealing leak at the return elbow connection for about a month now. Any ideas on how to deal with it? Will I need to turn off the return pump for a length of time? Any help appreciated.

I'd say yes, and replace/fix , not worth chance of giving way...

Best way to fix this is remove the elbow that is leaking and install a new one using couplings to reattach where you cut off.
