So I have been running a sump for a year now and for some reason I feel like I’m not getting enough exchange between the sump and tank. This isn’t a new thing it has been happening for the past year. The pump isn’t cranked all the way, I don’t have time to test but I feel like the chemistry is better in my sump because it grows coralline while my main display doesn’t. I’m not sure if I should make the pump faster since this has been working.

I can't guess your flow. But, if you want more flow through the sump, turn up the return pump.

The extra coralline in the sump could also be growing better due to the lighting that it prefers in your sump since all other parameters are constant.

I’ll crank it up and see if that has an effect on the coralline. The light in my sump is a cheap led so Im not sure if it’s the light.
