So I’ve had this coral for about a month now not sure what it is. It is starting to turn from a ugly brown to some nice green. Two days ago I just noticed some white areas on it. I really cannot tell if it is good or bad as I had an acro frag die from STN last month. Generally when I see white it is a sign for more tissue growth. The polyps are extended just not as great as before. The white areas do not appear to be spreading at the moment.

My other corals are doing fine. Ca 500, mag 1675 alk 8.1. Yes my ca and mag are sky high not sure why it is still high, I have not been dosing for over a month and I have a clam as well as added LPS coral that all seem to be happy. Only an acro frag has died in the last month.

I feel like if it was growing it would be white on the edges not in the middle like that the unstable parameters/ pssible unstable alkalinity probobly caused the acro to die
