I am suspecting alk is a bit too high? Mag was low and I slowly brought it up from 1240 to 1350 in a 5 days.

candy cane is slowly dying from the center couple heads at a time. Trachy is not doing so hot either. The rest are so far so good.

I don't think your alklinity is too high. I don't see anything wrong with any of your other numbers either. If you ahven't done a water change recently I'd start doing about 10% a week fo r amonth or so and run GFO or Boyd's chemipure.
