While changing out the DI canister, I noticed this little guy. Should I be worried about the water in there now?

Hard to tell from your photo, but looks like a Stomatella snail.
However I don't think they can survive in DI water. So not sure.

I'd honestly be shocked if it was a stomatella, since this is my RODI storage container.

My main concern is the quality of this RODI water that has been hosting a mystery critter for who knows how long.
Should I dump the water?

Not that much. Just beware that it would raise the pH and calcium content in the water. If you're using that for topoff, then it could swing your system.

I was mentioning this in a tongue-in-cheek kind of way. I have calcium hydroxide in my DI topoff water, but I've been running my system like that for a long time. And, I certainly don't have any pests in the water tank because the pH is too high.

Oh gotcha.
Yeah, it is topoff water but also mixing water. I'll probably just dump it

I'm not sure I'd get rid of it. That's high dollar water you paid to make. I'm sure there has to be something you could do besides just dumping all of that water. In fact, I'm not even sure the critter you found is something to be concerned about.

Yeah you're right. I think the story I recently read about the guy being paralyzed after eating a slug is affecting my thinking on this ;)
