Whenever I find a new critter in my reef that I did not expect, it makes me a little nervous. How many are there? Are they harmless? Should I get rid of them? Brrr.

Anyway, tonight I found this little guy creeping around after dark. Seems to be some kind of slug as far as I can see. About .4" (1cm) in length. And it seems to be eating algae.

Who can tell me what this is? In the video you will see it on the move and the photo is taken while it was on the glass.

Thank you for your feedback! Yes I did a search for stomatella and I am quite sure you are both right. That is a relief!
