Was looking now at midnight at tank and notice a sponge under a rock , but it started to move so i grab a flashlight and phone, as i started with man made rock and dip everything i don't now how i got it
but if any can help me with species and if its a keeper or a future problem any advise is welcomed
i wonder if it might be a Dendrodoris nigra

Very cool. The mystery of how it got there is equally intriguing. Did you add live sand? What dip are you using?

caribsea live sand but its bacteria in sand not live critters as its a big one so it must find sponges to live on as faar as i now they eat specific sponges

You may want to consider using a Bayer dip as it does a better job on incoming critters, and then dip also with Coral RX which really is more of an antiseptic. I had a couple of critters sneak in on my latest setup too. The only way could have been in the small bag of Caribsea live sand I used or in my chaeto which I did not dip. Now I dip all corals, chaeto with Bayer and then Coral RX. Haven't seen a new hitchhiker since the dips.
