What kind of fish do you have in the tank? I’m not experienced enough to know for sure, but I would bet a natural predator like possibly a wrasse would love them.

yellow tang
hippo tang
4 chromis
1 clown
splendid dottyback
2 shrimp

The ones on the glass in the second picture look like a form of pods to me. I could be wrong.

If you see them on any zoanthids, I would be concerned. Typically the algae eating ones will be more smooth like the one in the video. The ones that you took a picture of on the glass looked more frilly (with elongated nodules) could be predatory to zoathids. If they hang out on the zoathids, let us know!

Definitely a sea slug, my guess is Oxynoe antillarum (Caulerpa eating sea slug/mollusk)

A good hitchhiker in my eyes.

Look under Elysia...

They don't even go on the same rock as the zoas/palys honestly. They cover my glass and randomly on the rocks

Sounds like they are going for algae then.

Keep and eye on them but they look good to me!

Hmm, I'm going to back track a little on the specific ID and go back to a broad Elysia identification. I did a little more research. The good thing is to note that they are spending time eating off the glass and rocks focusing on algae.

If you can confirm this is what they are eating, their population will be limited by their food source. Less algae in the display will render a much lower population.
