Slurp noise on 1 1/2 inch Overflow

I drilled for a 1 and a half inch overflow thinking that would be big enough to get rid of the “slurp” noise that they make but it is still really loud. I don’t have to option to redrill has anyone found a solution for this?

Make an upside down u and drill a hole in top.
