Small (2"-4") effective algae eating fish

i an almost complete with building my 30 gallon frag tank with a 20 gallon sump.

I have a clownfish that doesn't get along with my other clown in the main tank that will be going in it as well as a neon dottyback. I'd like to add one more fish to help with algae control. Any options for this?

If I can't find one I'll probably get a small yellow tang and sell it for another baby once it grows each time.

It will be a bare bottom tank of that makes any difference with a Lawnmower Blenny.

Bare bottom doesn't matter with blennies. I'd recommend a smaller blennies like a tailspin over lawn mowers, they eat algae and have the personality but aren't as likely to knock stuff over and won't create as much waste.

Tailspin or tailspot?

Will any Blenny work? If so I think I may choose the one I like most color wise.

Tailspot, any combtooth blennies will work, tailspot, pictus, linear, they all eat algae.

If you're looking for inexpensive you could get a salt water acclimated Molly. They are supposed to be good at eating algae. They aren't my cup of tea, but depends what you're looking for.

trust me get a zebra snail i have one in my 29g the only snail in there and he does an amazing job ate up GHA too! Just beware they are like tanks will toss around lose frags

I don't know much fish that does well against Algae except Tailspot and Starry Blenny but I recently got a Tuxedo Urchin and it is so so active. It went on powerheads and even went to the overflow to get some more Algae. He came back after he was finished. After the Urchin I got a Dragon's Breath Macro Algae that helped get rid quite a bit of high nitrates I had and other Algae the Urchin couldn't get to. The Urchin then ate 30% of the new Algae so I had to move it to a smaller spot in the tank.
