Small ammonia spike...

Going thru my Sat. morn. routine (test,clean,10% wc) I've got a small ammonia spike (.25). Just added a Diamond Goby 4 days ago and it's turned ALOT of sand. Could this be the prob? All other prms are dead on...

Yes. Stirring up the SB can cause both an ammonia & nitrate spike.
WC should take care of both.

Yes that will happen witht those little buggers. Once the tank gets more mature it will be able to handle that. Make sure you have a lid on our tank. Those guys love to jump a lot!!
