Small ammonia spike?

Maybe I should have listened to my gut and waited, but they convinced me otherwise. Lol.

Good luck. I just have a 10 gallon. I waited about 14 days and I think my nitrates hit 20 when I put my first fish in. About to go buy my second coral today (my tank is now 9 weeks old).
 
Sounds to me also that your bioload is increasing too fast for your bacteria to catch up. Not blaming you at all. It is a learning process and we all have to go through it. I just wish the store would have had you make sure your cycle was complete. The live rock would give you some bio filter, but obviously not enough.
Keep a close watch on fishies and cuc. Could all pull through fine. If you ammonia goes higher, take fish out into qt tank and let cycle before re-adding them. In qt, you can do water changes to control ammonia.
