Hey all i think I’m starting to get bryopsis. I thought i had a little before i reset my tank last year. There isn’t a lot. I see a few strands throughout the tank but no takeover or large clumps. I try to pick it out but comes back a few weeks later. Any recs? I added emeralds and an urchin for some turf algae and minimal bubble algae. Hoping to avoid any meds. I’ve noticed the bryopsis starting to grow at the coral skeleton where it meets the polyps on some of my lps.
All 8.6

Don’t have a recent mag or calc. I don’t dose just water changes.

Bryopsis is one of the more challenging nuisance algaes. The key to getting rid of them is getting rid of the roots. As long as there are roots, they’ll keep coming back
Place frags in a container of tank water and pull what you can do by hand and then use a dental pick or small crochet needle and remove roots or scrape them off
Add a pitho crab to work on any in tank you may have missed
