Any clue? They really only come out at night, or they are in dark areas of the tank.

They will spread and can eat fish, snails, or anything else that touches its sticky ball tentacles. I have them and not sure what to think. They look cool but can cause trouble. If you only have one I would consider killing it or removing it if you can...

I wanted to post more pics because there isn’t a lot of info on these guys. You hear or read stuff that contradicts what you just read about them. Unless they natural go away with time, which I don’t think they will. , I would consider these to be a pest.

I’ve never heard of them eating fish or inverts. From what I know they pack a mild sting and can be seen as a nuisance or not just depending on a personal taste. I don’t mind them but then again haven’t had them. Also are actually a shroom rather than a nem. They do spread fast though.

These ornamental figures can multiply regularly but the're not like an Aiptasia infestation. They tend to appear sporadically and don't grow to any size of concern. The more available nutrients for them, the better their growth. They multiply by splitting

Yep they are Corallimorphs. Thought I read they are also photosynthetic. I have read they will eat fish, snails, or whatever gets to close. I’ve witnessed them with a collection of shells they had pulled towards them. I e we like move all the shells away and then I would notice new shells by them. Depending on its size would depend on what they would consume I guess. There are some larger species I believe I read.

Like most nems- photosynthetic and they should not eat fish

That is why I said in earlier post the information out their isn’t really clear. There are obviously different species and it’s hard to know what species you have.

They can maybe mine like dark areas with out a lot of light never became problematic and they don't get big enough to eat fish.
The close relative the hatian will but not these guys.
