Small black slug thing

Tried to get it out but it escaped into the rock. Any ideas what it is? Moved like a slug or something

Its a black stomatella snail. Its harmless/beneficial nocturnal detritivore. If you’ve got one you’ve 50.

Thank you. Glad I didn’t pull it out. It’s just my natural reaction when I see some weird black scary looking thing to be safe and just take it out. Need to learn more critters so I can ID myself. I’ll leave him be. Maybe I should throw it in my other tank if it eats detritus. Spread the love
