Big storage totes can hold water if flimsy don't fill up all the way, or coolers. Maybe take out whole rocks if possible. Do you have sand?

see my rocks are all epoxied/glued/cemented together.... thats an issue and yes I do have sand, like 1/2" layer of the special grade stuff

I purposefully made mine in large manageable pieces. Hopefully you can get yours out in as little pieces as possible. Do you stir your sand or have critters to do it? I was thinking more like if you had a good amount that you never stirred you could have some nasty spots. I don't think you would have an issue transferring over 1/2 inch of it.

I could take this as a chance to rescape ;) maybe I'll pick up some more pieces and yea, I currently only have 5 fish and 16 snails, along with like 10-20 corals so its not much, I'll try to see if I can get some friends or sm to help. WE do have a local "aquarium moving" company that does this, so I could contact them, I'll probably also pick up some more prime + turbostart, just in case I crash the cycle somehow, if I can't get all the sand out, or some are too dirty, I still have another 40 lb bag of special grade stuff so I could use that too.

All I'm really hoping for is all the fish to live.... ideally snails + coral too... but I'm more attached to my fish than anything.

Probably won't do this anytime SOON, but just planning

Cool that they honored this. Yes I agree maybe do a half dose of prime or other and keep an eye on it. Use some of the old water too. Anything that big of a job sucks I know good luck though.
