small budget reef :(

that purple tip nem! ive been watching a nem in my lfs thats a so called "african white anemone" which i never fully bought into since white usually means bleached. does anyone know about this? its the same exact looking one that ive been watching, and otherwise normal and healthy behavior

The purple tip ? Is a sebae. Theyre easy to care for but normal osc clowns dont usually host with them they will host other species hes been on tank some time now i feed it krill it was cheap. (25) bucks. Hes growing fast ! But they can be temperamental they will deflate at the smallest changes good starter anems tho

congrats on the hosting!! I did want to mention that your other nem is a condy not a sebae.

Condys are a lot cheaper and more available. They are also not very sticky and clownfish dont host them normally.

oh no, sorry to hear that. You'll have to update to give some information regarding what happened :( I wondered why the frown was in the title of the thread
