So anyways I bought even more carpet anemones, and these now have me stumped. I bought 2 maxi mini carpets, but one looks like a baby giant/haddoni? What do you guys think?
Ps, maxis do best in the sand right?

I think the larger anemone above is a baby Haddoni, while the smaller one is a Ricordia. Baby Haddoni stay on rock until they get larger. I guess it is too easy to get bury in the sand, and it can kill them if they get bury by several inches of sand.

Is it the lack of pointy tentacles along the rim that you identified it that way? I thought haddoni at first but then changed my mind as I thought I could see that characteristic.

Ah so it’s a mushroom? What a way to get scammed haha. Anyways, I assume baby anemone are sticky? So if it is a ricordia then I should be able to touch it bare handed and not feel anything I suppose

I agree with the baby haddoni. The other is more difficult. My immediate was mushroom, but then it kind of looks a bit like a baby malu. Probably a ric, but I would place it as yuma, not floridia.

Hmm the smaller one is really sticky, and ate the test feeder fish. Definitely not a mushroom

Hmm reminds me of majano... lol. But given that it ate a fish whole, probably not
