we all can benefit from saving money on some parts of our systems . With that being said I have a small cnc that has a 7" x 10" working area and I use it mainly for reef related parts like probe holders, float switch holders and such, I get my acrylic from scrap so almost free. If anyone needs something made I could do it for really cheap for you, I'm not trying to make a business from this, just offering services , soon I will have 24"x 24" laser cnc, just not finished yet .

No, pops makes them and gave us kids each one, after having it for a few years now I'm considering making one myself

Sorry for the double post lol

No problem ---- No problem got to enjoy it twice.... lol

That's one impressive piece of machinery coming together, tell him "GREAT JOB" from me to. I've worked in and around professional shops for most of my adult life (mainly Cabinet/Furniture) from 5,000 s/f to well over a 100,000 s/f and being retired myself now have had to squeeeeeeze everything into my half of garage. So now you got me thinking "How the Heck am I going to fit one of these lil CNC's in there" may send you a pm with some ?'s

Cheers, Todd

I agree

The first part of the code involved sharing.* We shared everything: corals, ideas, information, suppliers, anything that would help each other be successful.* There were no secrets.* In the beginning we were just happy to keep anything alive for a few months.* So once we actually got things growing, we not only shared what we were doing with one another, but due to trial and error we even learned how to propagate our corals, and as a result we shared our these corals with one another.*

The Reefer’s Code*allowed us to keep anything that was hardy or colorful alive and in the hobby, so that if something unforeseen happened to our tanks we could always get it back from whoever we shared it with.* At the time, we didn’t realize that what we were doing was selecting for corals that would tolerate the conditions in our tanks, while corals that did not tolerate these conditions would die.* We did not frag everything as soon as there was a branch big enough to cut to make money, but rather to make sure that if it was a worthwhile coral it would become established in the hobby
