Small crab identification and is it save for a reef tank?

Agreed. Crabs are opportunistic and will wreak havoc. Very few are reef/fish safe.

Yes their legs are hairy- here's a better pic of his legs
Generally the non-safe crabs have sharp/pointed dark claws. The flat claws such as the mithrax are used more like pliers for pulling out algae and other small tidbits.
Crabs McJones is the resident crab expert, he'll know for sure

Where did you get your live rock? Mithrax are found in the Caribbean and I can't see you importing Caribbean live rock to South Africa, but maybe?
