I had a left over 29g tank I want to use for a fuge. I drilled it today and later noticed a small crack between the hole and the top of the tank. Could this cause an issue? Or could I silicone the heck out of it? Thoughts? This is my first time drilling of course.

Personally I would get a new one at the $1 per gallon sale at Petco, but if you are in a hurry Iyou can look used. I wouldn't use that tank in my basement.

Yeah, I'd agree. Once you add the weight of water, you'll end up at best leaking and at worst calling service master and the mortician!
