Small Fluorescent Disks on Sandbed...

In the last 2-3 months I found a bunch of these little 3/16" fluorescent disks and I'm curious if anyone has seen anything similar (my best guess is Ricordia florida brooded planulae):

These things are motile, mostly like to twirl around as seen in this short vid:

I kept them in a container with holes for 5 weeks, but no changes/development, so they've been dumped into the nooks-and-crannies of my live rock.

def interested in an update if anything happens

After peppering the live rock with around 15 of these disks a few days ago, I can only account for two. One is on the sand bed under a large Ric and the other is staying put where I released it on the rock. Where the others went is a mystery.
